The store pile is the one that makes the method work. Without it, every decision is keep or throw, and most people keep. With it, the decision is deferred six months at a known price, and by then the box you never called for has answered the question.

What people in small flats actually store

Seasonal and travel: suitcases, the winter coat, camping gear, the fan when the air-con is on, the heater from a colder country that has never been switched on.
Sport: bike, skateboard, surfboard, golf clubs, the yoga mat you will resume.
Books and paper: the ones you will reread, the university files, the sentimental box.
Baby and child: outgrown clothes and gear kept for a sibling.
Furniture that does not fit: the second bookshelf, the desk from the old flat, the extra chairs for guests who visit twice a year.

Doing the maths

A Small plan holds about 3 m³ of shelf. In a small flat those boxes typically cover two to three square metres of floor, usually the corner of a bedroom or the bottom of every cupboard. Divide your rent by your floor area; in the central districts the answer is usually more per month than the 1,158,000 VND the plan costs. The space is the expensive part.

Getting one thing back

The catalogue has a photo and a note for each box. Search "tent", request delivery, pick a date from tomorrow. The delivery fee is one price per item, a box or a wardrobe alike, and you send things back with "send more items" when the trip is over. A cupboard at home has a lower delivery fee, which is why the keep pile should be honest.

Six months later

Open the account. Anything you never called out and cannot name a reason for goes to disposal, which is confirmed with you first, or to a buyer through a delivery. What is left is the store pile you actually needed. Most people drop a plan size at this point, or find the remaining boxes justify the price.

Is it worth storing just a few boxes?

The Small plan is the minimum at 1,158,000 VND a month. If you have three boxes, either find a friend with a cupboard or fill the plan with the things you are on the fence about; the per-box price falls as you fill it.

Do you supply the boxes?

Yes. Boxes of 60 × 40 × 40 cm, wrap and tape come with the crew and are included in the collection fee. Pack ahead if you like; the crew still photographs each box.

Can I store furniture from a small flat?

Yes, counted in box-equivalents. A bookshelf or a desk is fine; the crew dismantles what comes apart.

What if I want everything back?

Request "return everything and close" from the account; the crew delivers and the plan ends. The return fee depends on whether you paid both ways at the start.
