Four rules that prevent every clothes-in-storage complaint

Clean and completely dry. A slightly damp garment in a sealed box is mould in a month.
No plastic film, no vacuum bags for wool, down or silk. They trap moisture and crush loft. Breathable is the word.
Do not overfill. A box with air inside lets fabric breathe; a compressed box creases permanently.
Right climate. The city runs at 75 to 80 percent humidity; mould starts above about 65. Natural fibres go air-conditioned.

Wardrobe boxes

For suits, coats and dresses that should not be folded, ask for a wardrobe box at booking: a tall box with a rail. Each counts as about two standard boxes. The crew brings them and hangs the garments with you.

What a Small plan holds

12 boxes is two people's winter wardrobes, their ski gear, the suits, the boots, and the two suitcases they pack them in. Most clothes plans are Small, air-conditioned, at 1,452,000 VND a month, which is about 121,000 VND per box. A 12 month term takes 15 percent off; winter comes once a year.

Getting a coat back for a trip

The catalogue shows each box with your note: "black coat, grey scarf, gloves". Request the box for a date from tomorrow; one delivery fee per box. Send it back with "send more items" when you are home. Pack for the trip from the box, not from the wardrobe.

Can I store clothes in suitcases?

Yes. A packed large suitcase counts as about two boxes. Leave it unlocked or give us the code if you may want single items out; otherwise the crew stores it as one sealed item.

Will moths get in?

The facility has scheduled pest control. On your side, clean garments and a cedar block in each wool box; moths are attracted to skin oils, not to wool itself.

Do you dry-clean?

No. Clean before storage; the crew photographs garments as received.

Is a wedding dress safe?

Yes in air-conditioned storage, boxed with acid-free tissue, no plastic. Declare it when booking if its value is high; protection is up to 30,000,000 VND per contract.
