Large appliances stored badly do not switch on again.

Fridges and washing machines are the two most commonly mis-stored items. The problem is not the transport; it is the preparation, and specifically the water left inside.

How we handle it

• Unplug and drain at least 24 hours before collection.
• Leave the door ajar so it dries completely, which prevents odour and mould.
• Secure the drum with transit bolts if you still have them.
• Coil and wrap hoses and cables separately, logged with the appliance.
• Store upright, never on its side.

How it works

1. You pick a window. The crew arrives inside it with boxes, bubble wrap and tape.
2. We pack at your place. Everything is wrapped in front of you. You do not have to prepare anything.
3. Every item is photographed and logged. Each one gets its own reference and its own picture, and the full inventory is in your dashboard before the van pulls away.
4. Straight to storage. It goes from your door to the facility and nowhere else, into units held at 23 to 25°C, with CCTV and professional pest control.
