Storing a household properly is four jobs, not one: packing it correctly, recording it completely, keeping it in the right conditions, and returning it intact.

The four jobs

1. Packing. Boxes, bubble wrap, tape, and people who know that wood, glass and electronics each want a different treatment.
2. Recording. A photograph and a reference per item, in your dashboard before the van leaves.
3. Keeping. Climate-controlled at 23 to 25°C, CCTV, professional pest control.
4. Returning. You pick the items and the window; we bring them in and put them where you want them.

Things that need particular care

• Solid wood and leather want stable humidity, so choose the climate-controlled option.
• Electronics should be wrapped against damp and never stacked at the bottom.
• Mattresses and sofas need to be fully covered.
• Paper and books should go in smaller boxes than you think.

Why not just rent a unit

A self-storage unit sells you an empty box. You hire the van, you carry it, you pack it, you try to remember which carton the thing went into, and every time you want one item back it costs you an afternoon.

This sells you the work instead. We come to you, pack, photograph each item and take it away. When you want something, you look at a picture of it, tap once, and it arrives. You never need to know where the warehouse is.
