Furniture is the thing that does not fit, the thing that is expensive to replace, and the thing this climate damages fastest. Storing it well is mostly about three decisions: what to dismantle, what to wrap, and whether it needs air-conditioning.

What humidity does in twelve months

Ho Chi Minh City averages 75 to 80 percent relative humidity. Mould colonises leather, fabric and untreated wood above about 65 percent. Veneer lifts, drawers swell and stop running, rattan spots black, lacquer clouds, and metal fixings rust into the wood. Standard storage is dry and pest-controlled, which is enough for metal, plastic and laminated board. For anything that was once alive, wood, leather, cane, wool, choose air-conditioned; the difference on a Medium plan is 2,516,000 VND against 2,006,000 VND a month, and it is cheaper than one re-upholstery.

How the crew prepares each piece

Dismantle what was built to come apart: beds, flat-pack wardrobes, table legs, shelves. Fittings go in a labelled bag coded to the piece.
Wrap: corners and edges protected, upholstery under a breathable cover, glass and marble tops padded and carried upright.
Never wrap wood or leather in plastic film for long storage; it traps moisture. Blankets and breathable covers instead.
Empty every drawer and cupboard. Contents are boxed and coded to the piece so they come back together.
Photograph before wrapping so the record shows the surface, not the blanket.

On delivery

The crew reassembles what they dismantled and places each piece where you point. Check against the photos while they are there and raise anything then; the collection photos and the delivery are the two ends of the record.

Frequently asked

Do you store pianos or very heavy pieces?

Ask first. Uprights and heavy stone pieces need extra crew and sometimes equipment; we tell you before booking whether and how.

Can I store a mattress on its own?

Yes, in a breathable cover, stored flat or on edge. Count it as four boxes for a double.

Will you take built-in cabinets or a kitchen?

The crew does not detach fixed furniture. Have a carpenter remove it; we collect it once it is free-standing.

Is my furniture insured?

Protected up to 30,000,000 VND per contract under the terms, with the collection photos as the condition record. Declare antiques or high-value pieces when booking.

Can I sell furniture from storage?

Yes. Use the account photos for the listing and request delivery to the buyer, or release to them at the facility with your authorisation.
