Valet or self storage

Two ways to store the same things. The difference is not the service, it is how the space is billed.

Valet

Your things are shelved on their own pallet in our partner facility and you pay only for the volume they actually occupy. There is no unit with your name on it, and you do not visit. When you want something back you ask for it and we bring it.

Because nothing is paid for on empty space, valet works out cheaper for the same belongings. Retrieval is scheduled rather than instant.

Self storage

You rent a whole unit with your own lock, and you can walk into it whenever you like, day or night. The unit is yours whether it is full or half empty, which is what makes it dearer for the same things. A one-month deposit applies.

Which to choose

• Valet if you are storing and forgetting, want the smallest bill for the things you own, and are happy to ask a day ahead when you need something.
• Self storage if you go in often, want to rearrange things yourself, or need access at any hour without asking anyone.

Where your things are kept

Both sit in facilities run by MyStorage, the leading storage operator in Vietnam and the first to bring European and American standards here. They hold the SSAA membership, and their sites carry CCTV around the clock, passcode and fingerprint entry, and professional pest control.

Five locations across the city: District 2 on Vo Nguyen Giap, Thu Duc on Song Hanh, District 7 on Tran Trong Cung, District 1 on Tran Khac Chan, and District 6 on Vo Van Kiet. We handle the collection, the catalogue, the app and the delivery; they hold the building.

What both include

Collection, packing, materials, the truck and crew, and a photograph of every item in your dashboard. Neither has a distance or stairs surcharge.

Storing longer costs less: 3 months 5% off, 6 months 10% off, 12 months 15% off.
