What District 3 stores

Homes here are often multi-generation family houses, so things accumulate by the decade: grandparents' books and papers, old wooden furniture nobody will throw out, the dining set for the twice-yearly full house, a sewing machine, bikes, boxes of photographs. Renters in small flats around Nguyễn Đình Chiểu and Cách Mạng Tháng Tám are the opposite: newly arrived, few things, but 35 m² cannot hold a suitcase, a bike and a desk at once.

Old wood and the climate

The wardrobes, beds and carved sitting-room sets in District 3 houses are usually real, old wood, exactly what the city's 75 to 80 percent humidity warps, moulds and rusts the fittings of. My lane is hard even for a motorbike. Can you do it?

Yes. The crew carries or trolleys from the mouth of the lane and dismantles furniture on site if the stairs are narrow. No extra charge.
